The programme aims to prepare you for public and community health, with expertise in preventing infectious diseases and promoting physical and mental well-being. You will develop impactful skills in research and tools that align with the "quality health for all" policy and education initiatives, resulting in higher career opportunities in public and private healthcare institutions, NGOs, and national and international levels.
Core Curriculum
Choice-based extended learning (CBEL) offers curated courses beyond the regular curriculum to help students develop multidisciplinary skills.
NSHM offers placement assistance and internship opportunities to students. All through the year, workshops and training sessions with industry experts are facilitated by the CRTT department to inculcate a professional outlook in our students and make them industry-ready.
Every year, NSHM hosts various youth connect initiatives like Y comm, Login, Astitwa etc.. Sporting legend Pele, Dr. Shashi Tharoor (MP), and other eminent personalities have been hosted on the campus to inspire the students and bring out the best in them.
