Psychologize – Mental Health Awareness and Assessment
World Mental Health Day (10th, October) is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. The theme for this year’s World Mental Health Day is “Mental Health in an Unequal World.” To honour this occasion, the Department of Psychology is proposing to organize an offline Mental Health Awareness Camp in the Kolkata Campus where young minds will be addressed by eminent Psychologist Dr Arundhati Sarkar and the famous Psychiatrist Dr Rima Mukherjee .Psychological Assessment relevant for the college going young adults in the present world namely, Personality with further sub divisional understanding of self- efficacy, aggression, health anxiety and procrastinating behavior will be administered by the students after proper training before the program. Further, awareness about different psychological problems will be imparted by the students through visual aids.

- Dr. Arundhati Sarkar – Director, Manochetna Academic and Research Centre who is professionally qualified as a practitioner in the field of Learning Difficulties from the UK. She is also known in the city of Kolkata as the Founder Director of Anjali Dyslexia Association Kolkata
- Dr. Rima Mukherji – Senior Consultant Psychiatrist with 32 years of experience in the field of Psychiatry. She is also the Founder Director of Crystal Minds, a mental wellness clinic.
