Aangan is organising a workshop “Shouts & Calls” on 2nd March
The Centre of Creative and Performing Arts is delighted to invite you to the inaugural evening of Shouts & Calls is a one of a kind Multidisciplinary Art Project executed in collaboration with Culture Monks.
The result of an intensive workshop involving design intelligence & digital story performance. The objective of the material & performance design workshop was to initiate the students into rigorous thinking about what is designed, why and with what consequences within frameworks that expand understanding and accountability to the newly expanded “common good”. We are happy to inform you that the students have created public art sculptures by transforming some selected scrap objects accumulated in the NSHM campus and created a performance art exhibition as an outcome of this project.
There is also the storytelling and performance aspect of developing a meta narrative around the memories and emotions associated with objects emerging with multiple art works and performances that are particularly interested in evoking the memories associated with Shouts & Calls.
The UNIQUE Inaugural exhibition will showcase 2 D works, Installations, Soundscapes, Theater, Photography, and Dance by the Students of NSHM Design School, Media School and other Portals and guests from the city.
