The B.Tech.- Computer Science Engineering prioritises theoretical foundations of information, computation, and practical techniques for their implementation and application in computer systems. This program prepares students on the basics of engineering, computer science, problem-solving, computing environment, data structure & algorithms for successful careers in IT/ ICT and all other industries and services at the global level.
The program equips students to solve complex problems ethically and justly, as part of a team, as an entrepreneur, or as a technology leader in national and international organizations.

NSHM’s B.Tech.- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning prepare the students with knowledge and skills in computing and database environments, Networking, OOPS, C, C++, Python, Java, AI/ML, and related 4.0 technologies for leading roles and careers in the realm of AI across all sectors of health, education, research, development, Industry, automation, and Intelligent systems.
This program enables students to continuously advance their learning and practice and apply them ethically and socially responsibly.

NSHM’s B.Tech.- Data Science trains students to learn about various tools and techniques of machine learning, applied statistics, and mathematics to become skilled data scientists. The program prepares students with knowledge and skills in computing and data environments, object-oriented technology, programming, deep learning, and blockchain.
NSHM is now one of the few colleges in West Bengal that offers a B. Tech degree in Data Science, recognizing its significant impact on various industries. This program covers both structured and unstructured data, as well as algorithms that utilize predictive analytics.
Core Curriculum
Choice-based extended learning (CBEL) offers curated courses beyond the regular curriculum to help students develop multidisciplinary skills.
NSHM offers placement assistance and internship opportunities to students. All through the year, workshops and training sessions with industry experts are facilitated by the CRTT department to inculcate a professional outlook in our students and make them industry-ready.
Every year, NSHM hosts various youth connect initiatives like Y comm, Login, Astitwa etc.. Sporting legend Pele, Dr. Shashi Tharoor (MP), and other eminent personalities have been hosted on the campus to inspire the students and bring out the best in them.
NSHM has over 30,000 alumni working all across the globe. There are networking opportunities for existing students which allow them to benefit from the skills and experiences of our former graduates who willingly offer their expertise.
