“Psychedelic, 2024,” organised by the Department of Psychology, NSHM Institute of Health Sciences, Kolkata, was held on August 9th and 10th, 2024, at the Jubilee Hall, The Bhawanipur Education Society College. The conference centered on the theme “Navigating the Current Challenges & Opportunities in Psychotherapy: Now and Then,” featuring in-depth discussions on the three waves of psychotherapy.
The first session included practical training in hypnotherapy and psychodynamic therapy, while the second session offered insights into behaviour therapy and cognitive behaviour therapy. The event concluded with an intensive three-hour workshop on trauma therapy. This engaging conference fostered valuable interactions among professionals and provided a thorough exploration of the evolving practices in psychotherapy. |
