Events

NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata offers a foundation programme spanning multiple schools, including Business and Management, Health Sciences, Hotel and Tourism Management, Media, Design and Computing & Analytics. The pre-foundation course is designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills required by industry, with the goal of improving their overall academic readiness.

The pre-foundation course aims to enhance students' theoretical understanding and practical competencies relevant to industry needs, as well as to improve their academic preparedness and language proficiency.

Students enrolled in the foundation program have the opportunity to attend masterclasses led by industry experts, participate in industry boot camps, and enhance their communication and public speaking abilities through dedicated sessions

NSHM Media and NSHM Design School presents Vectra the graduation showcase where students showcase their talents and artistry. Vectra provides a platform for graduating students to exhibit their creative endeavours, highlighting the culmination of their academic journey. The event serves as a celebratory moment, honouring the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of these young minds, as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
The showcase features the diverse array of disciplines offered at NSHM including Graphic Design, Animation, Fashion Design, Photography, Filmmaking, Interior Design, multimedia and more, offering a comprehensive display of the institution's pedagogy and the multifaceted talents of its students.

The Calcutta Debating Circle, in association with CLC, hosted Debating Excellence 2024, a workshop and competition organized by the NSHM Centre for Language and Communication in Kolkata on June 29th, 2024. Over 130 students participated, receiving training from mentors of prestigious universities. The event featured presentations by experienced debaters and coaches, who discussed techniques and provided hands-on exercises to help the participants develop their skills in language usage, content, confidence, body language, and overall performance for the final selection.
