Prof. Jaydip Sen

Professor & Head, NSHM School of Computing & Analytics

Prof. Jaydip Sen obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Mechanical Engineering with honors from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India in 1989, and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science with honors from Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata in 2001.

He has worked in reputed organizations like Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd., India, Oracle India Pvt. Ltd., and Akamai Technology Pvt. Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and National Institute of Science and Technology, INDIA and Calcutta Business School, and Praxis Business School.

During his tenure in the Innovation Lab of Tata Consultancy Services, Kolkata, he was involved in research and development in security and privacy aspects in wireless networks and Internet of Things (IoT). While he worked with Praxis Business School, he was involved in teaching and research in various areas of Data Sciences.

He is also an expert in IBM technologies in Data Science and Big Data and delivers invited lectures in workshops conducted in various universities in India and abroad. He is a Senior Member of ACM, USA a Member IEEE, USA and a Life Member of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE). He was also an active member of the security group of IEEE 802.16 standard body and European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI). His biography has been listed in Marquis Who’s Who in the World in every year since 2008.

Course Outcome
